Wedding: N+J's Summer Elopement at Willard's Woods

What to do when the pandemic's got you down on your wedding plans? Like many couples right now, N +J experienced first hand how difficult it can be to actually get married when cities and towns are shut down… After weeks of searching, they were able to find a township issuing marriage licenses and a Clerk available to officiate, so they reached out to me to see if I’d be available to document their day in a couple of weeks.

N + J were to be the first of many couples contacting us last minute to book for coverage for their elopement, microwedding, or otherwise reimagined day. In an industry predicated on planning, we’ve never had so many last minute bookings, and they’re leading us to some of our most cherished wedding sessions, like this one!

After a quick ceremony outside of Town Hall we headed over to Willard’s Woods, one of my favorite little-known spots, for their portraits. You can really tell in these photos how loving smaller weddings are, and how focused on each other the couple can be, and we just love that! This gallery is full of truly authentic moments - a love story filled with smiles and moony-eyed looks of adoration. We’re just crazy about it!
