Winter Boston City Hall Elopement: Savannah, Sarah & Their Beloved Pup Lou

There’s something magical about a winter elopement in Boston City Hall — quiet streets, soft drizzle, and the kind of intimacy that makes every moment feel monumental. That’s exactly what we experienced with Savannah and Sarah this past winter, along with their dearly departed pup, whose memory was a beautiful part of their day.

We started the morning pinning a boutonniere on Lou, a quiet moment full of meaning before the whirlwind of the day began.

On their way inside after a few quick photos, S+S snagged a high five before checking in for their city hall ceremony.

Checking in at City Hall, we felt the excitement building — this was their day, and it was about nothing else but them.

Lou stole many hearts that day and got lots of pets inside City Hall. I love how pet friendly Boston City Hall is.

The ceremony was short, sweet, and full of laughter. Sarah and Sav said their vows, sealed them with a kiss, and officially became married with the most joyful expressions ever!

After snapping a few photos in front of the Married in Boston wall, we popped champagne in the gentle winter drizzle, celebrating not just their marriage, but the warmth and joy they bring to each other’s lives.

Even more exciting — we’ve since captured their Museum of Science wedding this month — and we couldn’t be more excited to share those photos with you!

Eloping at City Hall is such a wonderful way to celebrate your love intimately, and it makes an incredible prelude to a larger wedding day. Whether it’s a few hours or a full morning, these moments are yours to savor — and we love capturing every second.
