Wedding: A Black Tie Love Story at the Institute of Contemporary Art

Our story with Charlie and Corinne actually began before their proposal a few winters ago. It all started when we met Charlie’s cousin and captured HIS proposal in the public gardens! We are so glad that cousin (who’s now married with the cutest kiddo!) referred Charlie to us.

We believe strongly in the power of capturing love as it grows over time. There is something special about the connection we create with those couples, and it’s been no exception with these two - from their wintry engagement with their pup, to their beautiful wedding day at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA)

And when I say beautiful, I mean beautiful! A blush and white color palette, classic for weddings, when paired with a modern design aesthetic was elevated and at times otherworldly. Corinne’s bouquet was made of white peonies and her clear acrylic chuppah was topped with so much baby’s breath it looked like clouds floating in the sky above the couple as they read their vows and exchanged rings. Table and Tulip really outdid themselves with this one!

Their reception space overlooking the harbor was designed using long mirror tables covered with white roses, white baby’s breath and white candles. The ceiling was covered with paper lanterns that had lights shining on them. The result was a dancing celestial display of shadow and light on the far wall The design’s elegance was balance by an ethereal playfulness that we fell in love with.

It was indeed, the PERFECT night at the museum! Scroll below to see a little more behind the team who brought this incredible day together, and a big thanks to C + C for always having us in their corner on their biggest days!
