Oh, hey! I’m Amanda ~

Joy-chaser, storyteller, and your new bestie!

I’ve always been a storyteller—first through journalism, then as an event producer, and for the past decade, through my lens. I thrive on capturing life-changing moments and turning them into images that take your breath away… all while making you giggle until your cheeks hurt!

With years of experience running events, I know how to catch the magic before it even happens. My mission? To create an experience as joyful and unforgettable as the memories I’m preserving.

He’s our 2nd photographer, lighting tech, and professional fixer. Babies love him, dogs adore him, and our clients cherish his calm demeanor and ability to spring into action.

Mike’s education and training as a film photographer and closet full of vintage cameras is the perfect compliment to Amanda’s multi-camera digital approach.

WE BOOKED A CALL WITH YOU! WHAT’S NEXT?

We’ll start with a connection and a quick fit check. If it’s a yes (we hope it is!), I’ll send over a booking proposal, you’ll choose your collection and any add-ons (yes we offer film!), and once the contract and invoice are complete, your date is officially locked. From there, we get to start dreaming, planning, and building something really special together in the lead-up to your wedding day.

  • Once you’re officially booked, you’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started — including access to your private client portal. This is where your contract, invoices, questionnaires, and galleries live, along with access to our wedding guide, trusted vendor recommendations, and when to book your engagement session!

  • Through the AMP Client Portal, you’ll complete a thoughtful questionnaire that helps us get to know you, your people, and what matters most on your wedding day. From there, we’ll collaborate with you — and alongside your vendor team — to shape the overall vibe, build a custom photography timeline, and create a shot list that feels intentional, flexible, and true to how your day will actually unfold. In short: you’re not planning this alone!

  • Use the AMP Wedding Guide to help you figure out when your engagement session wants to happen and how it fits into the rhythm of your wedding timeline. From there, we’ll pop into your inbox with a few thoughtful (and fun) questions, dream up location ideas together, and build out a plan that feels effortless and true to you. We’ll also help with styling and wardrobe guidance so everything looks cohesive, intentional, and/or perfectly quirky in the best way imaginable.

  • On your wedding day, we’re all in — quietly hyping you up, keeping things grounded, and capturing the big feelings, tiny moments, and all the good stuff in between. After the confetti settles, your images are thoughtfully edited and delivered through your online gallery, with sneak peeks arriving shortly after your celebration (up to two weeks during peak season) and full galleries delivered within eight weeks. From there, you can relive the day, download your favorites, design your wedding album, and share the joy with all your people. From start to finish, this part is rooted in care, intention, and a whole lot of love for your love.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Full-day wedding collections begin at $7,000, with elopements and couples sessions starting at $1,200. Full pricing details are available upon request, and every collection is fully customizable. Let’s chat about what you’re planning and build an experience that fits your day, your priorities, and your people.

  • We shoot primarily on Nikon digital cameras with Profoto lighting, and typically have three to four camera bodies with us on a wedding day, along with a full range of lenses and lighting tools to adapt to whatever the day throws our way — bright sun, candlelit ceremonies, dance-floor chaos, you name it.

    If you’re someone who loves the nitty-gritty technical details, we’re always happy to nerd out — just send us a note.

  • Yes — and we love it. Film is an optional add-on and something we use intentionally. Depending on your coverage, this may include a mix of medium format (Pentax 6×7), 35mm point-and-shoots, and Polaroids, plus the occasional vintage camera for a little extra magic.

    As a general rule, film coverage averages about one roll of film and one Polaroid per hour we’re photographing, though this can flex depending on the pace and feel of your day.

  • That’s totally okay — we have options. Many midweek elopements, City Hall weddings, and smaller or mid-size celebrations are photographed solo by Amanda.

    Coverage is always customized to fit your specific needs. In some cases, Mike may join in a supporting or assistant role, and other days he may be home hanging with Junie, our very important studio pup. We’ll talk through what makes the most sense for your day and make a plan that feels right.

  • On average, you can expect around 75-100 fully edited images per hour of coverage. This isn’t a hard cap — it’s just a helpful guideline. Our priority is delivering a complete, story-driven gallery that reflects the full energy, emotion, and flow of your wedding day.

  • We believe deeply in loving people exactly as they are. That means no reshaping bodies, no changing faces or features — you are not a “before,” and you never will be here.

    We will, however, quietly remove the random, temporary distractions that sneak into real life — the stuff that pulls focus away from the moment — while keeping everything true to how the day actually felt. Messy can be beautiful and we often lean into it, but when something feels unnecessary or distracting, we’ll thoughtfully clean it up here and there.

    In short: we’re here to celebrate you honestly, beautifully, and with a whole lot of love for exactly who you are.
