An Iconic Newport Engagement Session with Theo + Travis

Join me on a journey through a luxury sunset engagement session that unfolded in the enchanting locales of Newport, Rhode Island. If you're on the lookout for a dreamy engagement session that captures the essence of romance against the backdrop of Newport's charm, look no further!

The Chart House’s Iconic Third Floor Bar:

Our journey begins at the iconic Chart House Third Floor Bar, where the couple toasted to their love with sweeping views of Newport Harbor. Dressed to the nines in an undone tux / black tie look, they sipped on martinis as the sun began its descent, casting a warm glow over the bay. This spot not only offered a touch of luxury but also set the tone for an evening filled with love and laughter.

The Chart House in Newport, Rhode Island, has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century. Originally constructed as a signal station in 1885, it served as a vital point for communication between ships entering Newport Harbor and the Naval Torpedo Station nearby. The station's iconic tower became a distinctive landmark along the waterfront.

Over the years, the building underwent various transformations, serving different purposes, including a restaurant and a yacht club. In the mid-20th century, it became a renowned seafood restaurant, eventually adopting the name Chart House.

The Chart House has become a staple in Newport, celebrated not only for its delicious cuisine but also for its picturesque location with panoramic views of Newport Harbor. The blend of its maritime history and modern dining amenities makes it a unique and iconic destination, attracting locals and visitors alike to experience the charm and culinary delights that the Chart House has to offer.

Bowen's Wharf Stroll:

As golden hour approached, we made our way to Bowen's Wharf, a charming waterfront area in Newport that is next to Bannister’s Wharf. The couple, now in their semi-formal outfit, strolled hand in hand in front of docks and along the cobblestone streets, pausing for candid moments and stolen kisses. The sky may have been grey, but as the bistro lights turned on around the wharf, the couple was aglow, and the warm and intimate atmosphere complemented the coastal setting.

Beach Bliss:

As we noticed the sunset finally starting to peak out, we headed to the beach for a backdrop that was nothing short of breathtaking. By the time we got there, it was full-on golden hour. Did you think you couldn’t navigate the sand in heels? Well, I think the only person who can is the stunning Theo. The couple embraced the coastal vibes as their pup joined in on the fun. The waves, the sunset hues, and the love was all we needed. The beach became a stage for candid laughter, playful twirls, and moments that spoke volumes about their connection.

Rocks at the Cliff Walk:

Our journey concluded at Newport’s renowned Cliff Walk, where the rugged beauty of the coastline and the immensity of Newport’s mansions provided a dramatic and stunning setting. With the couple donning their final, most casual outfits, they posed against the backdrop of crashing waves and the fading sun. The play of light and shadow added an extra layer of enchantment to this already picturesque spot. The perfect place to pop a bottle and end nothing short of an iconic engagement session.

This luxury sunset engagement session in Newport, Rhode Island, was a celebration of love, style, and the breathtaking beauty of the coastal surroundings. From the Chart House to Bowen's Wharf, the beach, and the cliffs of the Cliff Walk, each location marked a chapter in their love story, leaving them with cherished memories captured against the backdrop of a Newport sunset. Cheers to love, laughter, and happily ever after! 🥂💖
