I found Amanda while working as a wedding coordinator at my own venue. She sent the couple's wedding album to all of their vendors and I completely fell in love with her work. My now husband and I got engaged last November and I knew we had to have Amanda photograph our wedding. We purchased a package along with an engagement shoot and it was perfect! We got the photos back and knew we had made the right choice, so excited for our own wedding day.

Then COVID hit. We originally had a large wedding planned for this November but due to the unknown future of the virus, we decided to hold a smaller ceremony and reception with close family and friends this past September. Amanda couldn't have been more accommodating! We were able to change our date with her and she was so responsive to all of my emails changing photo groupings and timelines. She also would regularly check in with us, making sure it was known she was there if we needed ANYTHING.

Amanda exceeded all hopes and expectations for our wedding photographer. Due to COVID, I reached out to Amanda after cancelling our planned wedding in the Caribbean while trying to plan a private ceremony in under 3 weeks to honor our original date. We originally were going to forgo a photographer because after attending a few wedding expos, we cringed after viewing those hackney staged "prom-like" wedding albums. Based on a friend's recommendation, we spoke with Amanda shortly before the wedding and after having a conversation with her, we knew Amanda would be perfect for our needs. Every aspect of our interactions were easy and effortless. Her assistant helped capture the moments of our guests arriving while we were having our "first look". Having the second photographer available also helped to ensure none of those special moments were missed. Amanda helped capture the moments of our wedding day without feeling overly staged.

As a nontraditional couple, it was important for us to choose a photographer who had a nontraditional approach for wedding photography. She was able to capture many family photos that were more naturally arranged. However, the true moments were captured with a more "in the moment" photo, whether this was when we first met, us dancing with my parents, and with our closest loved ones and friends. Also, Amanda specializes in candid photos, capturing your guests in the moment naturally, you friends laughing in the middle of the conversation, your Nana being so excited about dancing with her grandson, or your father looking like a mobster like waiting for his clam chowder to be served.

We loved working with Amanda - she was professional and personable from the first e-mail correspondence through the release of our final album. We worked with AMP for a family session to capture images of our second newborn. Between a fussy baby and a stubborn 2 year old we definitely put her through her paces but she didn't miss a beat. I recommend Amanda to capture the special moments in your life, you won't regret it!

Our family is not the easiest to photograph because we just can't stand still! Despite that, Amanda captured so many gorgeous shots. I highly recommend to anyone looking for quality photos from an understanding and patient photographer!
