Talk about picturesque! Liana and Jake took me to their little lakeside summer community in Sunapee, New Hampshire for their engagement session. It was a warm summer day, and the drive from Boston was easy and joyful. I had been on the other side of this lake before by The Fells, a wedding venue not far from where I was headed...

Inspired by the burst of creativity we’re seeing in couples, and a love story to everything we miss doing before COVID - this shoot tells the story of a pair of long-time touring musicians who decide to tie the knot in an impromptu celebration with their closest friends and family at the place they feel most home. Having traveled the world playing music, they couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to tie the knot than outside their fav local venue - the House of Blues - under a dope custom marquee that reads “All You Need Is Love”…

Dan + Jill met through a mutual friend, a roommate of Jill’s at the time. They had seen each other before at shows on Rugg Road (heck yea!). They chatted for a bit on facebook until one day Dan showed up on her front steps. She didn’t really know him, so they had their first date right there on the front porch. It went so well she ended up inviting him inside and cooking him dinner…

Who else loves a good Carrie Bradshaw moment? From her modern, structured dress (a nod towards Bradshaw’s wedding suit from her marriage to Big), to her navy blue Manolo Blahniks, our bride was picture perfect. We loved her classic white bouquet from Winston Flowers and the backdrop of the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental in downtown Boston…

We photographed Jess and Jimmy’s engagement session in 2019 before COVID was even a thing, so coming back together on their actual scheduled wedding date felt like nothing short of a miracle. It was a warm late fall day in Sandown, NH. Rain hung in the air, threatening to change the couple’s plans to have an outdoor ceremony (which it eventually did). That being said, we love a good grey New England day during the fall - just look at how the colors pop everywhere…

You can’t ask for a more perfect wedding venue than historic Hammond Castle, which sits right on the water in Gloucester, MA. Everything about this incredible castle is absolute decadence, from the indoor courtyard to the massive main hall with ceilings as high as Hogwarts. We were so excited to photograph this spooky, moody, full moon microwedding for Monica and Robert this past Halloween…

The Liberty Hotel is a historic landmark in Boston. This former jail turned upscale hotel is located right next to the red line, the Charles River, and Beacon Hill, and of course not far from city hall, making it the perfect spot for your Boston Elopement. A snowy winter day, combined with the pandemic, made for a quiet lobby and one epic photo session

This is one of my favorite “how did you meet” stories ever! Becca and Cory met at their local yoga studio in Brookline. One day they were paired together at the end of class. The instructor gave everyone “yoga buddies” and encouraged folks to get each other’s numbers and hang out after class. So they did, and sparks flew…

Minuteman National Park is one of my favorite places to hold fall minis. The foliage is unbeatable and there are so many cute little spots for photos. This beautiful family opted for a full session which is always a lot of fun because we can really take our time and explore everything this amazing venue has to offer, and it gives us time to go with the flow which is so, so important for sessions with kids.

Our approach to family sessions is play oriented, and we always try to consider the perspective of the kiddo - where are they at, what do they need? - and we move at their pace. Trust me when I tell you that not all sessions with littles are easy, most parents really want their kids to listen 100% of the time (time they paid for!) and that doesn’t always happen….

When planning and designing weddings, we often find couples feel pressure to match their aesthetic to something that someone is telling them to be. Whether it’s family saying it needs to be formal, Instagram telling them it should be light and airy, or a venue that says it needs to be on a farm and rustic. Our muses, a real couple named Rebecca and Maya, were bursting at the seams with personality. Their natural beauty, edgy style, glamorous demeanor, and queer love were all things that needed to be celebrated…

Jenifer + Jared chose one of our favorite destination spots for their out of town wedding - Newport, RI. Set right on the Cliffwalk, every location was breathtaking - from the inn where they were getting ready, to their first look spot and ceremony location…

We LOVE this fun South Boston and Castle Island Associate Engagement Session. We had a blast editing these photos - especially that champagne pop! We know B + B’s wedding will be a blast and are so excited to party with them next year!

This place has special meaning for A + B. They used to come here after work and watch the sunset, and this is where they eventually got engaged. It was so lovely coming here with their two pups to watch another sunset…
