Wedding: Sex In The City Inspired Microwedding at the Mandarin Oriental
Who else loves a good Carrie Bradshaw moment? From her modern, structured dress (a nod towards Bradshawโs wedding suit from her marriage to Big), to her navy blue Manolo Blahniks, our bride was picture perfect. We loved her classic white bouquet from Winston Flowers and the backdrop of the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental in downtown Bostonโฆ
Wedding: Rainy Rustic Barn Wedding at Zorvino Vineyards
We photographed Jess and Jimmyโs engagement session in 2019 before COVID was even a thing, so coming back together on their actual scheduled wedding date felt like nothing short of a miracle. It was a warm late fall day in Sandown, NH. Rain hung in the air, threatening to change the coupleโs plans to have an outdoor ceremony (which it eventually did). That being said, we love a good grey New England day during the fall - just look at how the colors pop everywhereโฆ
Wedding: Dark & Moody Halloween Microwedding at Hammond Castle
You canโt ask for a more perfect wedding venue than historic Hammond Castle, which sits right on the water in Gloucester, MA. Everything about this incredible castle is absolute decadence, from the indoor courtyard to the massive main hall with ceilings as high as Hogwarts. We were so excited to photograph this spooky, moody, full moon microwedding for Monica and Robert this past Halloweenโฆ
Editorial: Caught In a Snow Globe - A Modern Winter Elopement at The Liberty Hotel
The Liberty Hotel is a historic landmark in Boston. This former jail turned upscale hotel is located right next to the red line, the Charles River, and Beacon Hill, and of course not far from city hall, making it the perfect spot for your Boston Elopement. A snowy winter day, combined with the pandemic, made for a quiet lobby and one epic photo session
Engagement: Becca + Cory's Longwood Mall Engagement Session
This is one of my favorite โhow did you meetโ stories ever! Becca and Cory met at their local yoga studio in Brookline. One day they were paired together at the end of class. The instructor gave everyone โyoga buddiesโ and encouraged folks to get each otherโs numbers and hang out after class. So they did, and sparks flewโฆ
Family: Fun Fall Session at Minuteman National Park
Minuteman National Park is one of my favorite places to hold fall minis. The foliage is unbeatable and there are so many cute little spots for photos. This beautiful family opted for a full session which is always a lot of fun because we can really take our time and explore everything this amazing venue has to offer, and it gives us time to go with the flow which is so, so important for sessions with kids.
Our approach to family sessions is play oriented, and we always try to consider the perspective of the kiddo - where are they at, what do they need? - and we move at their pace. Trust me when I tell you that not all sessions with littles are easy, most parents really want their kids to listen 100% of the time (time they paid for!) and that doesnโt always happenโฆ.
Styled Shoot: Traditional Meets Modern for this Edgy Couple
Featured on Bespoke Bride + Dancing With Her.
When planning and designing weddings, we often find couples feel pressure to match their aesthetic to something that someone is telling them to be. Whether itโs family saying it needs to be formal, Instagram telling them it should be light and airy, or a venue that says it needs to be on a farm and rustic. Our muses, a real couple named Rebecca and Maya, were bursting at the seams with personality. Their natural beauty, edgy style, glamorous demeanor, and queer love were all things that needed to be celebratedโฆ
Wedding: Elegant, Intimate Cliffwalk Wedding
Jenifer + Jared chose one of our favorite destination spots for their out of town wedding - Newport, RI. Set right on the Cliffwalk, every location was breathtaking - from the inn where they were getting ready, to their first look spot and ceremony locationโฆ
Wedding: Intimate Fall Microwedding at The Groton Inn
Ashley + Ben had the sweetest fall microwedding at The Groton Inn. Itโs a place that holds special significance for these two lovebirds. The lawn behind the inn looks out onto the rolling pastures and gorgeous foliage that speckles Gibbet Hillโs property. The farm and restaurant is where Ben proposed, and the castle beyond their pastures is where we shot their engagement photos last summerโฆ
Portrait: Edgy Senior Session at Quincy Quarries
Thereโs nothing like capturing that senior energy and this one was no different. Liliana is such a unique, incredible soul and this location was entirely her choice. We knew when she picked it for her senior session that she was our kind of person. Her edgy style against the epic graffiti-laden backdrop and PERFECT golden hour glow of the quarries had us spinningโฆ
Wedding: Woodland Elopement Atop Hemlock Hill
Harvard Universityโs Arnold Arboretum is a treasure trove of secret spots - from views of Boston at Peterโs Hill to fields of wildflowers and tall grasses, hidden gardens and little ponds - and itโs one of our favorite places to visit with clients. This couple chose the less-traveled Hemlock Hill as the spot for their elopement. Tucked away atop our little peak it was quiet and sereneโฆ
Family: Sunny Summer Family Session in the Common
This joyous family and their fearless leader, Teddy were so much fun to hang in the park with. Who else loves every Golden Retriever theyโve ever met?! We love family sessions at the Boston Public Gardenโฆ
Wedding: Intimate, Non-Binary Pandemic Wedding At Sea
How do you sum up a couple like Maya and Rebecca? They are elegance with an edge, and weโre all about it. They planned a simple, classy, black and white yacht elopement on Boston Harbor and the day couldnโt have been more perfectโฆ
Wedding: Beachy Backyard Elopement in Chatham
This beachy backyard elopement in Chatham was so much fun to capture this past summer. Here are a few of our favorite shotsโฆ
Wedding: Bloom Inspired Microwedding in 18th Century Mansion
I first met Jennie while photographing a wedding at Briar Barn Inn where she was working as a wedding coordinator. You can imagine how honored I was a few months later when she reached out to not only let me know she had gotten engaged, but to ask me to be her wedding photographerโฆ
Wedding: Whimsical Backyard Elopement for this Chestnut Hill Couple
If youโve ever driven around Chestnut Hill, youโd know how gorgeous and incredibly desirable this little village just outside of Boston is. Idyllic curb appeal in the form of boundless lawns, beautiful mansions, and historic New England charmโฆ
Wedding: Lovely, Intimate Lakeside Microwedding for this Same Sex Couple
This intimate backyard wedding at a private lakeside neighborhood in N. Attleboro was seriously everything we needed to experience this summer!
Family: Baby D's Lifestyle Newborn Session
I first met the Wares when I photographed their engagement session on Bay Farmโฆ
